Jaiku, a competitor for Twitter

You might have heard twitter before. How about Jaiku? Hmmm…
I’ve been using twitter for more than a month now and I was impressed by it’s unique concept. That was not until I found out about the existence of Jaiku.
Jaiku, like Twitter, is an activity stream where you can make quick posts of your latest activities. You can also get updates from your friends by subscribing to their streams or following them. Posting of activity updates are not only done through web, Jaiku also offers a mobile application for a number of mobile devices.
Jaiku is on the process of being acquired by the famous Google. I’m not sure what improvements Google would do to make Jaiku a more powerful activity stream service provider.
